Respect and Regret (A Tale of Two Nationally Known Ohio Cases)

T. J. Lane, Trent Mays, and Ma’lik Richmond.  You may or may not know these names.

You may or may not know these images:

What you DO know is the Chardon School Shootings and the Steubenville Rape Case.

I won’t go into details here, you can Google if you want to know more.  Here’s the point of this blog:

While the rapists realized they messed up and were very apologetic for what they did to that drunk 16 year old girl:

T. J. Lane smirked, rolled his eyes, mocked and disrespected not only the courts, but EVERY family involved.  Both the victim’s and his own.

The Steubenville boys are getting a 1 and a 2 year sentence in prison.  They will have a chance to right the ship.  T. J. Lane will never see the light of day as a free “man” again.  Vegas is even laying odds on how long he’s going to last before someone shanks him in the toilet like Jeffery Dahmer.

Of the three boys, none of them had respect, for themselves or others.  Two learned regret for their actions.  One learned nothing.
